I've been MIA in Mexico (my next post will be about Careyes) and just back in town. Wanted to let you all know about this Saturday's skateboarding exhibition at the Overground Project, a private skate park in South Dallas.
A slew of pro riders are in town for the afternoon event that honors the late Jeff Phillips and benefits the Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas. Come out for food and drinks. My kids are so psyched about it.
That sounds like a lot of fun for a great cause. Wow, I remember my friends practically LIVING at the Jeff Phillips Skatepark! Those were the days! :)
