Here's a look at new Koch handbags for fall. Love what Dallas-based designer Nicole Boykin is doing with these metallics - that beautiful golden olive color reminds me of the back of an iridescent beetle and the broken texture of the gold and bronze bags, with the leather peeking through, feels earthy, but modern at the same time thanks to the studding around the edge.
I think these bags would sell out at JM Dry Goods in Marfa. Owner Michelle Teague - who was a costumier on Daniel Day Lewis' "There Will Be Blood" - has a brilliant "Texican" mix of new and old clothing, home goods and accessories that appeal to the New York City transplants' sophisticated palette, while never turning off the locals taste for authenticity.
